McPRICE Myers (Mac)

Over the last two decades, McPrice “Mac” Myers has been crafting wines of depth and balance that showcase the multiple terroirs of the Central Coast. A lifelong, self-proclaimed "food and wine geek,” Mac was a quick study and almost immediately had the press lauding his wines from near and far.

Billy Grant

Billy Grant first collaborated with McPrice Myers in 2017 as an industry consultant. In 2021, he contributed his start-up M Cab label to the McPrice Myers Portfolio becoming a partner and stepping into the role of Business Development. Over the past 20 years, Billy has served as partner, investor, consultant, and expert resource to wineries, vineyards, and affiliated businesses in the Paso Robles area. His high-energy sales approach and business acumen most notably served him in his winery venture, Four Vines, growing production to over 100, 000 cases in seven years. Affectionately known as the loudest guy in the room, Grant was awarded the Paso Robles Wine Country Association’s Industry Person of the year in 2021 for his enthusiastic promotion of the region. Post-pandemic, he has re-embraced his role as a road warrior, spreading his passion for Paso Robles wines across the country.

“Working shoulder to shoulder with Mac at McPrice Myers has been a highlight of my work in Paso. Mac embodies the authenticity and renegade nature of Paso Robles winemaking. I couldn’t be more excited about selling Paso Robles coast to coast once again.”

Our vineyards & Farming Partners

Will John

John Vineyards
Beato Vineyard
Armory Vineyard

Will John was born into a farming family in 1975 in San Luis Obispo. He currently farms approximately 400 acres of leased and owned vineyards and also manages a handful of vineyards for clients. His newest project is a 100-acre dry-farmed vineyard, Armory in Paso Robles’ Adelaida District, consisting mostly of Cabernet Sauvignon and a few Rhône varietals.

Beato Vineyard is proximal to a dry riverbed tributary that feeds the Salinas River in the Estrella District. The vineyard is fertile with silty and clay loam soils that produce wines that are dark, rich, and dense. We source Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Petite Sirah from this vineyard.

Paper Street Vineyard

We are working with the Dusi Family’s newly acquired Bootjack Ranch Vineyard. Located in the Geneseo District of Paso Robles, the vineyard is mostly planted to Cabernet Sauvignon and equally expressive and concentrated Bordeaux varietals. Steep north and east vineyard exposures ensure longer hang times and fruit of impeccable density and power.

Wilderness Vineyard is situated in the Estrella District of Paso Robles. The gentle rolling hills and alluvial soils produce wines of ample, spicy red fruits and broad textures.

Lago Vineyard is on the easternmost end of the Templeton Gap District with massive, gnarled Cabernet Sauvignon vines grown in clay loam soils. This vineyard's small, concentrated berries impart structure and backbone to our wines.
